DJ METALS MOVER: Anglo American Names Anne Stevens As Non-executive

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Globally diversified miner Anglo American PLC (AAL.LN) said Tuesday that it has appointed Anne Stevens to its board as a non-executive director.

Stevens, an engineer with industrial experience across the automotive, aerospace and oil sectors, has served on the board of Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT) as a non-executive director since 2002 and spent most of her executive career at the Ford Motor Co. (F) where she ultimately served as chief operations officer for the Americas until 2006. Stevens worked at Ford for 16 years.

Stevens is also the chairman and chief executive of a privately-held information technology services business called SA IT.
