DJ Man Group Names Douglas Greenig AHL Chief Risk Officer

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Man Group PLC (EMG.LN), a global alternative investment manager, said Tuesday it has appointed Dr. Douglas Greenig AHL's Chief Risk Officer and a member of the AHL Management Committee, replacing Matthew Sargaison who will become AHL's Chief Investment Officer.

MAIN FACTS:

-Greenig has a 20-year career in the industry, having held senior trading and management roles at leading institutions, including RBS Greenwich Capital and Fortress.

-Sargaison will assume responsibility for approving and monitoring strategies in client trading.

-Man Group shares at 0905 GMT down 4 pence, or 4.45%, at 84.8 pence valuing the company at GBP1.62 billion.
